Born in Guerrero, Mexico, Leonor Hipólito’s childhood interest in sales, finance, and community support persisted despite her lack of formal education. Upon
arriving in the United States at 17, unable to read or write in her mother tongue, she overcame obstacles and pledged to secure the education she desired for her children. Family support and training in leadership academies facilitated her achievements, including her notable teamwork skills in various corporate roles.
Motivated by her early community-focused inclinations, Leonor committed herself to the goal of educating children and families. In 2010, she recognized a pressing need within her community, leading her to establish the Pequeños Empresarios Owners Foundation. This organization remains active to this day, a testament to
her dedication. Presently, Leonor dedicates her time to her family and her role as the chairwoman of Pequeños Empresarios, channeling her efforts towards its mission.
Yesenia Hipolito, born in Madera CA is a co-founder of Pequenos Empresarios & Conscious Club Collective, a social media entrepreneur, and the founder of Overnight Blowout. Yesenias relentless passion for becoming the best version of oneself drives her advocacy as a personal development champion. Yesenia leverages her social influence to inspire others to strive for greatness and personal growth.
In addition to her work with the non-profit, she’s a bilingual Lifestyle content creator who collaborates with renowned brands like Starbucks, NARS Cosmetics, L’Oréal, and Ulta Beauty. She has also been featured in national ad campaigns, showcasing her versatile talents and wide-ranging impact.
Born in Michoacan, at the age of 17, she decided to emigrate towards United States, looking for opportunities and quality life, to overcome the poverty she was experiencing in his hometown. After going through several jobs, she will become a successful businesswoman, achieving the goal she had proposed to herself.
Undoubtedly, her previosly work experience would prepare her later to face the challenges that this new life will demanded her.
Her commitment, generosity and love for children have become part of the team of Pequeños Empresarios, where María transmits her knowledge to children, like her in her childhood, could be living an unfavorable situation within her family or community
Michael Rodriguez, born and raised in the Central Valley is a dynamic business enthusiast with over a decade of experience. His passion lies in launching successful startups that have positively impacted his community by generating job opportunities. With great enthusiasm and energy, he advocates for the idea of “to begin when one is young,” believing in the potential of small businessmen to make a difference.
Jessica Melgoza, a dedicated Madera native, has served as Administrative Assistant in Madera County Superintendent of Schools since 2018, focusing on Special Education. She’s an active community member and Public Relations Specialist for ‘Pequeños Empresarios’ since 2021. Nominated for Employee of the
Year in 2021, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Western Governors University while being a caring mother of five. She’s now a licensed
Insurance Agent, providing life insurance to her community. With unwavering dedication, Jessica empowers young minds to achieve the impossible. Family oriented, she cherishes moments with her loved ones, traveling, and creating delightful dishes despite her busy schedule. Jessica is committed to guiding and motivating these bright minds towards success through continued resourceful
pursuits.
Jaime, born in Nicaragua, is a renowned speaker and writer. His notable books
include “Manual del empresario” and “El poder de la unidad.”
As an expert in Human Development, Jaime’s methods draw from Initiative
Schools and various schools of thought, captivating his audience and facilitating
immediate transformations. He serves as a Coach and Business Advisor, leading a
team of thousands to help them achieve their dreams.
Being a longstanding member of Pequeños Empresarios, Jaime passionately
contributes his wealth of experience in human, personal, and business
development, as well as his exceptional communication skills, to help the
foundation’s message reach more families.
Born in Nicaragua, Rosemilia is a dedicated volunteer for the community and a happy mother of five beautiful children.
Her proactive character makes her a very special woman in the organization, with a great capacity for teamwork and excellent communication skills. Using her
experience as a mother, she is always willing to help others and as a sign of this, she serves the community with the purpose of supporting all the needs of the little
ones. Rosemilia fervently believes in the importance of teaching family values and that by practicing good customs at home, we can create a better world.
Zoraida’s lifelong commitment to the health sector underscores her passion. Within our organization, her volunteer role highlights her unwavering dedication to both administrative responsibilities and providing attentive care to participants during Pequeños Empresarios workshops. Balancing her role as a mother of two, she adeptly oversees her own cleaning support business, further showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit and determination.
Berenice Solís, born in Uruapan, Michoacán, Mexico, has embarked on various business ventures since the age of 18, boasting extensive experience in leading diverse teams. Berenice joined Pequeños Empresarios out of love for its mission. As a devoted mother, she understands the significance of education and emotional intelligence in shaping a brighter future for children.
In 1996, Beatriz “Bettina” Berrocal moved from Buenos Aires, Argentina, to the USA with her family, seeking a brighter future. As a mother, she prioritized etiquette and good manners in her son’s education.
Being an immigrant herself, Bettina noticed many kids losing interest in their native language after arriving in the USA. She recognized the value of bilingualism and has been a driving force in Pequeños Empresarios, promoting good manners and the proper use of Spanish. Additionally, she emphasizes family support and respect for the elderly as essential concepts for the children
